Where It All Bloomed: My Story of Becoming a Florist & Event Stylist

My Story

I was 19 years old when my journey into floristry and event styling truly began. During the pandemic, my sister who is an event planner struggled to find people to help with events. She knew I had always been artistic, with a love for designing and creating, so she invited me to work alongside her. What started as simply helping out quickly turned into something more meaningful and the rest is history.

After graduating with a degree in Marketing, I tried stepping into the corporate world, believing it was the “right” path. But my heart kept pulling me back to the creative industry. I returned to event styling and spent the next five years designing and styling events, bringing visions to life through thoughtful details and intentional design.

In 2023, I married my husband, and after I moved to Hawaiʻi, and settled in, I began looking for work and found myself transitioning into a new role as a floral designer. It was a major shift from working on large-scale events to creating small floral arrangements every single day. That experience changed my perspective and deepened my appreciation for floristry in a whole new way.

Working in a flower shop opened my eyes to how expensive fresh flowers truly are. It inspired me to rethink how I could continue serving couples while staying mindful of their budgets. That’s when I decided to continue my venture as an event stylist, focusing on modern styling using high-quality, premium faux flowers that look incredibly realistic and timeless.

Today, my goal is simple: to help couples bring their vision to life through thoughtfully designed, modern florals and event styling without the overwhelming cost. Every piece is created with intention, creativity, and a genuine love for what I do.
